The Spartans will look for a win-streak after earning their first conference victory on Tuesday.
SJSU (4-23, 1-14 MW) will go on the road to face San Diego State (18-10, 10-5 MW) on Saturday in an effort to reach its highest win total since the 2016-17 season.
In order for the Spartans to repeat their success and go into the Mountain West Championship with some momentum, they will need be lights out from beyond the arc.
Only shooting a modest 32.4 percentage from deep, SJSU will need to step it up as they did against UNM. Matching the 11 3-pointers will be very difficult, but if they can get close to the efficiency they were shooting the ball at, they should be able to pick up a win.
Great shooting coupled with another outstanding performance from junior forward Michael Steadman would make the Spartans competitive through the whole game.
Steadman has a double-double in his last two games and has recently been getting more free throw attempts which will keep his offense going for the duration of the game.
The Aztecs are not a team to be taken lightly.
They shoot 44.7 percent from the field and average 3.4 blocks and 6 steals per game. SDSU is efficient on offense and as a team can stop opposing offenses from getting comfortable.
SJSU will need to stop sophomore forward Jalen McDaniels who leads the Aztecs with 16.5 points and 8.2 rebounds per game.
Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. at Viejas Arena.
