San Jose State women’s golf team tied for third place overall after Round 2 of the Pan Pacific University Super Golf League at the Grand Fields Country Club in Mishima City, Japan, on Thursday.
The Spartans ended the day 15-over and tied with University St. Andrews for third.
Senior Tessa Kremser finished in fourth place, making her the highest-placed player from a U.S. university. She shot even-par again in the second round of the tournament and made three birdies.
Texas Christian University moved up to second with 12-over, and Nihon University continues to dominate the top spot, ending its day 4-under.
SJSU sophomore Lotte Schuhr shot six birdies in the second round and is now 5-over total.
Sophomore Regina Roldan is 6-over after the two rounds and made one birdie.
Sophomore Kleopatra Kozakiewicz ended her day 8-over in total, and senior Moa Andersson is 11-over after the two rounds.
The Spartans will compete in Round 3 of the Pan Pacific University Super Golf League on Friday at the Grand Fields Country Club in Mishima City, Japan.
