San Jose State University women’s basketball (3-21, 2-11 MW) looks to continue the winning momentum against Air Force Saturday at the Event Center.
The Spartans will be playing the Falcons (8-17, 4-10 MW) for the second time this season with hopes of starting a winning streak. They lost 88-77 back in January.
For AF, both sophomore guards Kaelin Immel and Emily Conroe shoot 36.1 and 41.5 percent from the field, respectively. Immel leads the team averaging 13.1 points per game.
As the Falcons allow their opponents to shoot 43.1 percent from the floor, the Spartans will seek to take advantage.
Freshman guard Raziya Potter leads the team averaging 9 PPG as sophomore forward Mikaylah Wilson tops with a 42.4 shooting percentage.
Sophomore Megan Anderson and senior Analyss Benally could be threats beyond the arc. The guards have hit a combined 89 3-pointers in 24 games.
Head coach Jamie Craighead and the rest of the team will look for them to excel on offense.
Tip off is set for Saturday at 2 p.m.
