San Jose State women’s golf wrapped up competition at the Chevron Silverado Showdown in Napa with a strong final-round push, finishing tied for sixth place at 17-over par.
The Spartans saved their best performance for last on Wednesday, carding a tournament-low 3-over 291 to match UC Davis in the final team standings.
Leading the way was junior Tessa Kremser, who delivered a steady and composed final round of 1-under 71 to secure a tie for 12th place at 2-under 214 overall.
Kremser was one of 13 players in the field to finish under par, highlighting her consistency across the three-day event. Her round featured three birdies and 13 pars, including calm stretches to open and close her day.
Freshman Kleopatra Kozakiewicz also turned in an impressive performance, tying for 18th at 1-over 217. Her final-round 73 was nearly flawless, marked by 17 pars with her only blemish coming on the par-5 16th hole.
Freshman Lotte Schuhr added momentum with a 73 of her own, making four birdies on the back nine to finish tied for 40th.
Junior Moa Andersson provided one of the highlights of the day, recording her second eagle of the season on a short par-4 en route to a 74. Freshman Regina Roldan rounded out the lineup with a 75.
Competing as individuals, sophomore Isabella Cioe and freshman Ting-Yu Chang contributed solid rounds to close the tournament.

The Spartans now turn their focus to the Mountain West Championship later this month at Mission Hills Country Club in California April 21st through 23rd , carrying confidence from their strong finish in Napa.
