SJSU baseball (20-18, 13-7 MW) lost to Air Force (19-24, 12-10 MW) 6-4 yesterday.

The Spartans started off with a bang when senior Jack Colette hit an inside the park home run marking his fourth home run of the year.

The Falcons responded quickly with a two run inning in the bottom of the first.

Later on the fourth inning, junior Matt Spears brought in the tying run off a sacrifice fly as Junior Dalton Bowling came in for the run.

In the bottom of the sixth inning, the Falcons opened with a four runs giving Air Force a 6-2 lead.

The Spartans tried to climb back into the game with two added runs: junior Theo Hardy with an RBI single and junior Charles McAdoo with an RBI double.

In the top of ninth, with one on and one out the SJSU baseball team was unable to come up with a hit as Colette and junior Hunter Dorraugh couldn’t help muster a comeback.
