Women’s tennis pulls successful wins in singles and doubles match at the SJSU/SCU Hidden Duals

San Jose State women’s tennis successfully won Friday during the SJSU/SCU Hidden Duals.

SJSU won four of six singles matches and two of three doubles matches.

In the singles match against Saint Mary’s, SJSU pulled out a win in all straight sets during the four matches.

Single match winners for Friday were senior Alaba Pedrero Galindo, junior Oleksandra Andrieieva and sophomore’s Irena Muradyan and Jovana Babic.

In the doubles match against Pacific, junior Lara Marco Mas and Andrieieva wrapped up the game winning 6-3.

Meanwhile, sophomore Raquel Villan Pereira and Pedrero Galindo won 6-0 in the doubles match as well.

The ladies will return to the Spartan Tennis Complex where they will compete over the weekend.

On Saturday SJSU will take on San Francisco Pacific at 12 p.m. and the singles match will start at 1 p.m. against California State Northridge.

On Sunday the Spartans will play against Nevada at 12 p.m. in the doubles match and the singles match against San Francisco Pacific will start at 1 p.m.
