SJSU beach Volleyball dominates 5-1 win against Pacific University on senior day.

It was a beautiful day at Spartan beach as the Spartans dominated Pacific University on senior day Thursday afternoon.

Senior Jada Hall  and junior Randy Reeves were the first to get the Spartans some points with a 21-10, 21-14 win.

Senior Shirley Morrison and Freshman Elon Milroy  needed three sets in order for the 17-21, 21-13, 15-5 win for the second point. 

Senior Jaena Bell and her partner Kylee Moore were able to clinch the 10th win with a 21-6, 21-17 victory.

Sabrina Moore and freshman Kiara Edwards unfortunately also needed three sets for the 21-15, 18-21, 15-9 win.

Junior Addison DeMarse and Sophomore Alexandra Dale wrapped up the dual with a win as well being 17-21, 21-13, 15-5.

 “This team is heading into our conference event in 2 weeks ready to take it all down,” SJSU head coach Gary Hodge said. “I’m really proud. I’m proud of our seniors, they are three of the best humans we have ever had come through here. I’m grateful to have a couple more days with them.”

Up next the Spartans will travel to Louisiana for the NOLA classic on April 18-19, hosted by Tulane.
