SJSU women’s volleyball will take on Colorado State tomorrow.
The Spartans (11-6, 2-2 MW) are performing well lately, securing a two-game winning streak. Meanwhile, the Rams (8-8, 2-3 MW) are determined to recover from their recent losses with exceptional players on their roster.
Junior Letizia Cammillucci and freshman Nayeli Ti’a led the Spartans with 11 kills each during the Mountain West match against Wyoming. Senior Jiana Lawson had three blocks, one solo, and two assists. Junior Brooke Bryant contributed 8 kills, three digs, and two block assists.
SJSU has a track record of winning against Colorado State in past matches, with its most recent victory being a notable 3-2 victory last year. This could provide the Spartans with an advantage in their upcoming match.
In its last match, SJSU fell to Wyoming 0-3. But the Spartans have demonstrated their ability to bounce back from losing to San Diego State (1-3), coming up with wins against the University of Nevada (3-1) and Fresno State (3-1).
SJSU women’s volleyball will take on Colorado State at the Moby Arena in Fort Collins, Colo. tomorrow at 12 p.m.
