San Jose State women’s basketball (3-3 MW) will be traveling to Moraga, Calif. to battle the Saint Mary’s Gaels (3-3 MW).
The Spartans are coming back from defeating the Academy of the Arts Urban Knights (3-3 PacWest) in a 62-49 blowout.
Junior point guard Stephanie Torres came out on top with a career high of 12 points, tied a career high of three rebounds and two assists.
Senior forward Cydni Lewis managed to score double digits for the fourth consecutive game. She scored 12 points, six rebounds and one block.

SJSU will now be on its way on the road for four consecutive away games, the first being Saint Mary’s college.
The Spartans and the Gaels are pretty neck-and-neck when it comes to a statistical point of view but also in a two game victory streak.
Fortunately for SJSU compared to SMC we do have a slight advantage.
The Spartans lead with 64.8 points per game versus the Gaels’ 61.8, Spartan’s with 40.7 rebounds per game compared to Gaels’ 40.2 and Spartan’s 13.2 assists and Gaels’ 12.3.
This game will not only show who will come out on top but also who will end the other’s victory streak.
