By Alejandra Vaca ─ Reporter

San Jose State’s men’s basketball (2-3) will host South Dakota (4-2) inside the Provident Credit Union Center at 7 p.m.

The last time these two met up was in 2017, as, SJSU fell to South Dakota 76-62.

After nearly four years, the two teams will face off almost unfamiliar with one another.

The Spartans will look to secure victory to remain undefeated at home.

Last week on Tuesday night, the Spartans hosted Northern Colorado where junior guard Omari Moore reached a career-high of 28 points and slammed a game-winning dunk that secured a 75-74 victory over the Bears.

Moore finished the game with a career-high four 3-pointers and 11 field goals made, along with two blocks.

He is a player the Coyotes will have to watch out for after his slam dunk debuted as the No. 3 play on SportCenter’s Top-10 plays.

The game against Northern Colorado highlighted the Spartans’ efficient shooting percentage of 52.9% from the 3-point line and shooting 50.9% from the field.

So far this season SJSU has had the toughest schedule in its conference taking on tough opponents.

Honorable teams that have delivered in preparing the Spartans for tough competitors.

Catch the action against the Coyotes, as the game will be streamed on the Mountain West Network.
