Men’s water polo preview: SJSU vs. UCSB

San Jose State’s men’s water polo (15-12, 2-2 GCC) will be battling to continue their longest winning streak since 2015 in their final conference match of the season when going up against seventh ranked UC Santa Barbara.

The two teams will go head to head for a win on Saturday, Nov. 6 at UCSB at 12 P.M.

UCSB Guachos were defeated in their latest match against the USC Trojans (13-9) on Sunday, Oct. 31. No. 3 UCSB’s attackers Sam Nangle and Leo Yuno played strong in the match but ultimately the Trojans overtook the final frame.

Excitingly, the Spartan men’s water polo team is coming off another win having competed against No.10- Pepperdine University on Saturday, Oct. 30. This is one of many wins that contributed to their winning streak of seven matches.

Spartan defensive players Bende Pardi, Adam Bad, and Yahav Fire continue to maintain a strong defense and boost morale for their team’s winning streak.

Freshman defensive player Pardi scored an impressive three goals against Pepperdine, bringing the spotlight on his abilities to push his team ahead.

Senior goalkeeper Fire kept up his stamina in blocking goals and assisting their saves and wins.
