The Spartans are facing some heavy competition to start fresh with this season opener. They are against 22 other teams who are competing this weekend.
Despite the heavy competition for SJSU, there are players in the 2021 roster that the other team have to look out for.
Junior Carl Corpus played in 18 rounds last season. His scoring average was 74.28 with his best finish coming at the Mountain West Championship which he finished in a tie for 14th.

Corpus and Shelter will look to be the dynamic leadership duo for SJSU; the Spartans have fresh faces joining the team with two freshmen Zubair Firdaus and Nick Watts joining the squad. The Spartans also have three sophomores, three juniors and two seniors coming back.
With a mixture of veterans and freshmen for the 2021 roster, SJSU will be enthusiastic to get off to a fast start for their start of the 2021 season in Colorado Springs, Colo for the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational will run this Friday through Sunday.
