By Julia Coty — Reporter

Saturday will be a busy day for the Spartans with three home games.

The men’s water polo team will be going against three teams this Saturday starting with UC Davis.

Last week, the Aggies made a momentous win setting their school record of 26 goals against Mount St. Mary’s.

The Spartans will battle the Aggies at 12 p.m. at the SRAC pool.

Following that game, the Spartans will go against the Santa Clara Broncos at 4 p.m.

The Broncos lost their winning streak against Stanford last Wednesday but hope to bring back their good energy.

Lastly, at 5:30 p.m, the Spartans will play against the Cuesta College Cougars.

The Cougars are coming to SRAC with a winning streak following their last game.

Their last game was the Southwestern Labor Day Tournament which ended with a winning score of 21-4.

The Spartans just made a new school record of 28 goals during their last match at the Pacific Invitational.

This new record surpasses their record of 25 goals from 2015 against Connecticut College.

Spartan freshman Thomas Ramacciotti led the team with seven goals.

Additionally, Spartan junior Nick Marchione gained attention when he scored a personal single-match best five times.

Their last win was against Fresno Pacific University which ended with a score of 28-7.
