San Jose State women’s golf has been selected to play in the NCAA Regionals, the NCAA announced this week.

The Spartans were one of 18 schools selected to participate in the Stanford Regional, hosted at the Stanford Golf Course. They were one three Mountain West teams selected for the regionals, joined by San Diego State and Mountain West champion New Mexico.

SJSU recorded three top five finishes this season, including a third place finish at the Mountain West Championships in April.

“I am really proud of this team for stepping up after we lost Natasha (Andrea Oon) for the season,” head coach Dana Dormann said in San Jose State’s announcement. “The way everyone stepped up and filled that gap is amazing. We look forward to competing at Stanford where we have had success in the past.”

The 14th-seeded Spartans will start their 25th NCAA Regional on May 10, and will play through May 12.
