By Dan Nguyen — Reporter

San Jose State women’s soccer (0-2) will be looking for its first win of the season against University of Nevada Las Vegas (1-1) today at 12 p.m.

The Spartans lost their first two games against Fresno State and San Diego State.

SJSU’s game against San Diego State wasn’t close as the Aztecs beat the Spartans by five goals.

The Spartans lost to Fresno State by a score of 3-1, both contests were held at the Spartan Soccer Complex.

Spartan freshman midfielder Bella Keomounpane scored her first goal of the season against the Aztecs which stood as the only bright spot of the game.

A fast start for the Spartans will be imperative in setting the tone against the Rebels.

The Spartans hope to close out their homestand with a win before embarking on a four-game road trip.
