San Jose State men’s soccer will play a 10-game conference schedule, the Western Athletic Conference announced today.
Each team in the conference will play five home and five away games starting on Feb. 6, with the top six teams going to Las Vegas to play in the WAC Tournament to determine the conference champion.
Normally a fall sport, the NCAA moved college soccer and all other fall championships besides Division I football to spring 2021 due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
SJSU finished fifth in the WAC last season with 17 points, falling in the first round of the conference tournament to CSU Bakersfield.
The Spartans begin their season against University of the Incarnate Word, a team they beat 2-1 last season thanks to goals from Rudy Castro and Carlos Gomez-Zavala.
