San Jose State men’s basketball (3-21, 0-12 MW) concludes its two-game home stand with Colorado State on Wednesday.
The Rams (9-16, 4-8 MW) command the all-time record 19-0 as the Spartans attempt to break a 15-game losing streak.
SJSU will need to keep a close eye on forward/center Nico Carvacho. The redshirt junior leads the CSU offense shooting 59.6 percent and averages 15.9 points and 13 rebounds per game.
Freshman guard Kendle Moore will also be a player to watch out for. Moore tops the Rams with 73 assists on the year, so he’ll be looking to pass the ball instead of taking shots.
The Spartans need to focus on making field goals on every opportunity, especially beyond the arc.
Colorado State allows its opponents to shoot 45.7 from the field and 37.7 from the 3-point line.
Sophomore guard Noah Baumann looks to take advantage as he leads SJSU from 3 with a 45.5 percentage.
The team will also look to forward Michael Steadman. The transfer junior stands on top averaging 13 PPG and 7.9 rebounds.
Tip off in the Event Center is set for 7 p.m.
