After the fourth inning, the Spartans continued to add runs, ultimately leading to their victory.
“I thought it said a lot about how we [play] offense as a team today, just really proud of our effort,” head coach Brad Sanfilippo said.
Fernades is currently batting .800 to begin the season. He went 3-for-4 and had four runs to lead the Spartans to a win.
The pitching was on point today only allowing three runs to the Ragin Cajuns.

To close the game, Tyler Albanese threw four strikeouts pitching for 2 innings.

Go out tomorrow and try to win the series.”
