San Jose State’s beach volleyball team finished their final duals against CSU Long Beach and Saint Mary’s College. SJSU split the games and finished the year with a 10-12 record.

The Spartans went up against the Gaels and the Elbees on March 31. The first match against SMC was a tight 3-2 win for SJSU. The Gaels had an overall score of 13-9. Despite having a record of more wins than losses compared to SJSU, the Spartans took a win.

The script was reversed against Long Beach however, as it was another back-and-forth 3-2 match, this time falling short for the Spartans.

Cal State Long Beach finished their season 9-9.

SJSU head coach Delainey Gregory described CSULB as a “tough team” in a video shared via Twitter

The Spartans closed the 2022 season with a split and overall score of 10-12. It is their third 10-win season since the program’s inception in 2014.
