San Jose State men’s golf will be playing in the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational starting Thursday Oct. 21 going through Saturday Oct. 23

This is the Spartans’ third event of the season but it is their first one in Stockton.

SJSU is on a roll as the team came fifth out of 15 teams at the WolfPack Classic.

If there is anyone the field should keep an eye out for its junior Carl Corpus.

Corpus finished with a seven under par 65 in the Wolf Pack Classic. Corpus birdied the six out of the final nine holes he played.  However the Stockton Pacific Tigers won’t go down without a fight.

Petr Janik is someone that the Spartans need to watch out for, this season he averages a 74.52 score.

Both teams seem as though they have equal leverage when it comes to their team members with San Jose having 10 men on their team and Stockton having about nine 9 men on their side. SJSU is on a fair level playing field when it comes to the competition.

It seems as though this will be a good competition for the Spartans as the Tigers finished 12th in the Oregon State Invitational.

Make sure to catch SJSU Men’s Golf starting this Thursday through Saturday at Stockton Golf and Country Club.
