“Multiple individuals of the esports community” at SJSU have been accused of sexual violence and misconduct, Spartan Esports announced Thursday on Twitter.

According to the announcement the club has notified the university’s Title IX office of the allegations, and says they will “lend [their] support” to the process “in any way possible.”

Esports became an official SJSU club sport in 2018, but has been a part of the school for over five years prior.
