Divers fall short at Trojan Invitational

San Jose State women’s diving team came up short placing in top positions during the USC Trojan Diving Invitational this weekend. 

Senior Natasha Sodeno made the final round for all three of her events for SJSU.

After only diving competitively just nine weeks ago, Spartan freshman Anna Jabs also represented the team.  

Sodeno placed 18th in the one-meter dive earning a score of 438.80.

She then went on finishing the three-meter dive in 17th position with a score of 452.20.

Sodeno’s ninth-place finish in the women’s platform dive earned her a score of 374.85.

For Jabs, she did not place in her events.

In the one-meter dive, she received a score of 149.40 and she earned a score of 153.30 for the three-meter dive. 

Next up, the divers will compete in the UCLA Bruin Diving Invitational in January
