SJSU women’s volleyball will take on San Diego State University tomorrow.

The Spartans (9-5 , 0-1 MW) have been on a strong run recently, winning two out of their last four matches while the Aztecs (5-7 , 0-1 MW) are looking to bounce back from recent losses. With standout players, SJSU is poised for another impressive victory.

Junior Blaire Fleming has been leading the team with 189 kills this season. Additionally, Mountain West freshman of the week Nayeli Ti’a has been a dominant force with 131 kills this season, while senior Jiana Lawson has contributed 89 kills this season.

In their previous matchups, SJSU has a history of success against SDSU. Last year, they secured a (3-1) victory in the MW tournament semifinals after losing (1-3) in the regular season’s final match.

In its last match, SJSU fell to UNLV 3-0. But the Spartans have demonstrated their ability to bounce back losing 3-1 against USF (4-6) and coming with wins against CSUN (2-8) UTRGV (6-7).

On the other hand, SDSU has faced some tough challenges recently, with losses to Kansas State (6-4), Portland State (8-4), and Oregon State (5-5).

SJSU women’s volleyball will take on the Aztecs at the Aztec Court at Peterson Gym in San Diego, Calif. tomorrow at 1 p.m.
