The Spartans won the meet against UC Davis with by the slim margin of 196.625-196.000
Spartan junior Jada Mazury tied a school record on bars scoring a 9.950. Spartans’ all-around gymnast, sophomore Jaudai Lopes came out strong and had another crowd-pleasing performance on vault, bars, beam and hit her floor routine.
The team supported one another as always cheering each other on as they watched one another perform.
Fans in the stands stayed energized with some help from the Spartan cheer squad leading the crowd during the YMCA song break where fans get to stand up and dance to the song to get a chance to stand up and stretch.
The Spartans gymnast looked very pleased as well as their coach. They will compete next against U.S Air Force Academy March 4 in Colorado.
