San Jose State women’s basketball (2-3) will be playing against the Academy of Art (2-2) this Wednesday on Nov. 18th in San Jose, Calif. at the Provident Credit Union Event Center.

This game follows the Spartans in a groundbreaking win against Pacific University on Saturday Nov. 20th.

Fans and competitors alike should keep an eye out for senior forward Cydni Lewis.

During the season she currently has 9.4 rebounds, has a lead in defensive rebounds and has currently a score of 12.6 points per game and rebounding in her last season.

Another person to keep an eye out for is junior guard Ella Ogier. She recorded her first double-double in a victory against Pacific finishing with14 points and 10 rebounds as well as three assists and five steals.

With Lewis and Ogier on the court, the duo may have a decent chance to bring another win in this upcoming game.

Academy of Art currently has a two-game losing streak that SJSU may be able to continue. The Academy of Art’s last game against Stanislaus State they ended with a score of 57-74. However, Academy of Art junior guard Lauryn Manns is one that the Spartans need to keep an eye out on the court. Manns averages about 16.7 ppg, 4.9 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game.

This should be an exciting game to watch as we hope the Spartans’ can continue the losing streak that the Urban Knights have already started.
