After three back-to-back cancellations to start the season, San Jose State’s mens basketball has rescheduled their season opener with Fresno Pacific for Wednesday.
The Sunbirds replace University of Saint Katherine on the Spartans’ schedule after FPU was originally unable to compete because of COVID-19 testing issues.
The game is scheduled to be played at 5:00 p.m. at Kaiser Permanente Arena in Santa Cruz.
It will be live streaming via the Mountain West Digital Network, and broadcast on the TuneIn app or on TuneIn.com
Along with Fresno Pacific the Spartans have added Cal Poly to their schedule for Sunday. They will play the Mustangs at Robert A. Mott Athletics Center in San Luis Obispo.
SJSU hasn’t played the Mustangs since Dec. 10 2011, when they lost 47-40 at the Event Center.
The Spartans have also moved their game against nearby rivals Santa Clara to Kaiser Permanente Arena. The Broncos have won the last two meetings, with SJSU’s last win coming during the 2017-18 season.
