San Jose State men’s basketball game against Santa Clara has been canceled due to testing issues on the Spartans’ side.
The game was originally scheduled for 6 p.m. but was pushed back two hours to a 8:15 start time because the Spartans were waiting for their COVID-19 tests to be certified by their lab.
Tonight’s game was supposed to be the SJSU’s final game before starting Mountain West play at Utah State on Monday.
It was also the last game the Spartans were supposed to host at Santa Cruz’s Kaiser Permanente Arena before moving to Phoenix, Ariz. for conference play due to COVID-19 restrictions in Santa Clara County.
