San Jose State’s women’s basketball game against the University of San Francisco has been canceled, USF announced Monday.
Tuesday’s game was supposed to be the home-opener for the Spartans, but they won’t be able to play at Provident Credit Union Event Center for at least the next few weeks.
Santa Clara County’s new rules restricting contact sports went into effect Monday and will stay in effect until Dec. 21.
“No makeup date has been scheduled as of now,” the Dons said in their announcement.
